MY LITTLE OKI-YAH

A SHABBAT HOUSE & TEA GARDEN

Sabbatical . . . Transition . . . Refuge

‘OKI’ is Japanese for “middle of the ocean”. Traditionally, an “Okiya” (置屋) is a lodging house for geisha (women performance artists). My Little OKI-YAH is a Shabbat House for women artists seeking a moment of quiet and peace.
